Undreamt

About

Built for people who take their dreams seriously.

Why Undreamt exists

It started with a simple frustration. Every dream app we tried said roughly the same thing: dreamt about falling? You're anxious. Teeth falling out? You're afraid of ageing. The answers sounded confident, but none of them came from anywhere.

So we went looking for what sleep researchers actually know. It turns out there's decades of solid work on dreams, and none of it involves a symbol dictionary. What it does show is that dreams tend to reflect what matters to us, that the body plays a bigger part than most people realise, and that the most useful thing is often a good question rather than an answer.

Undreamt is the journal we wanted and couldn't find: honest about what dreams can and can't tell you, careful with the most private thoughts you have, and built to help you think for yourself.

What we believe

What we stand by

  • Ask, never tell.

We'll help you explore a dream. We'll never tell you what it means.

  • Body before mind.

A clenched jaw or a warm room can shape a dream. We check the simple things first.

  • Sources on show.

If Undreamt says something, you can see where it comes from.

  • Your journal is yours.

It lives on your phone, and you can export or delete it whenever you like.

  • Safe by default.

If an entry suggests you're struggling, support comes before anything else.

What we'll never do

Lines we won't cross

We will never sell your data, train AI on your dreams, show ads, diagnose conditions or pretend to know what your dreams mean.

Where we are

Small and independent

Undreamt is built independently, with our app backend hosted in the EU. We're not backed by a big wellness brand, so we answer to the people who use the app and nobody else.
