Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms govern your use of the Undreamt app and undreamt.app (together, the “Service”), operated by Undreamt, Meadow Close, Blackrock, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
What Undreamt is
Undreamt is a dream journal that helps you record dreams and reflect on them using questions grounded in sleep research. It does not tell you what your dreams mean, does not diagnose or treat any medical or psychological condition, and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice. If you're in crisis or need urgent support, contact emergency services or a crisis line in your area. The app is not equipped to respond to emergencies.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Undreamt.
Accounts
Creating an account is optional on the Lite plan and required for backup on the Full plan, via Apple or Google sign-in with an email magic-link fallback. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure. Let us know atsupport@undreamt.app if you think someone else has access to your account.
Plans and payment
Lite is free forever: capture, transcription, the journal, the physical-cause checklist and back-to-sleep sounds, stored locally on your device.
Full is a paid subscription, currently €6.99 a month or €59.99 a year (subject to change), adding reflection, the lucid dreaming toolkit and encrypted cloud backup. Trend views are planned for a future update and are not yet available.
Subscriptions are billed and renewed automatically through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and follow their payment, refund and cancellation terms, not ours directly. Cancel any time through your App Store or Play account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
We don't run ads at any tier.
Your content
Your dream entries belong to you. We don't claim ownership of them, we don't sell them, and we don't use them to train any AI model. You can export or delete your journal at any time. See ourPrivacy Policy for exactly what happens when you send an entry for reflection.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone else's rights,
- attempt to access another user's data or our systems without authorisation, or
- reverse-engineer, resell or repackage the Service.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is”. Reflection prompts and the lucid dreaming toolkit are informational only, never a diagnosis, prediction or medical recommendation. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Undreamt is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.
Termination
You can stop using Undreamt and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end your access to the Service for a breach of these terms, or where required by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, with any dispute subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page if these terms change, and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the update.
